I am a physician, so I carefully researched the HoLEP procedure and Dr Hudson. The literature supports the procedure as the new Gold Standard for long term relief of symptoms from benign prostatic hypertrophy. Less than 1% need for repeat surgery in 20 years! Truly “one and done” procedure. This is a procedure whose positive outcome is very dependent on the surgeon’s training and experience with HoLEP. I can assure you that Dr Hudson does an amazing job and very likely has performed more HoLEP procedures than any of his contemporaries in the area!
